Past Captain’s Corner Entry

Our April program was the JROTC awards evening.  The following JROTC Instructors and Cadets were recognized at our Dinner Meeting:

Each recognized cadet then gave a short talk on his/her goals for continued education and desire for military service, to include pilot training if possible.  At the end of the program, each school was awarded a check to support continued funding of the JROTC program.

Seagull Flight members and guests were given a good, close-up and informative look for both the CV-22 and a C-130 Gunship at Hurlburt AFB.  Thanks to LTC Chris Foltz for organizing the occasion.

The Dinner Meetings will not be on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Eglin Club, Eglin AFB.  This change was due to numerous scheduling conflicts with the club as it is now a combined Officer/Enlisted Club.

We are still in need of filling ne vacant position:  Vice Flight Captain.  Please consider supporting your Seagull Flight by volunteering for this important and rewarding position.
